New Clinical Workforce Companies Complement Healthcare IT Leaders

Bob Bailey, founder of Healthcare IT Leaders, a national, KLAS-rated provider of IT consulting and workforce solutions for hospitals and health systems, today announced his principal investment in two new companies targeting clinical workforce gaps:   Locums Choice and PAC Leaders.

Locums Choice offers temporary physician and provider staffing (a.k.a. locum tenens) for health systems, hospitals and medical groups seeking short-term and contract hires to fill staff vacancies. Target specialties for the new firm include surgery, anesthesia, radiology, hospital medicine and IM subspecialties.

Bailey’s partner at Locums Choice is staffing executive, Will Drescher, current CEO and founder of The Crevalle Group, a Salesforce-focused workforce solutions company. The two previously founded Locum Leaders, a successful locum tenens agency acquired by private equity in 2013 and now part of AMN Healthcare.

PAC Leaders is a physician-led, medical management company delivering high-quality, protocol-based patient care in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). The company deploys full-time nurse practitioners utilizing clinical pathways and decision support technology to improve outcomes and reduce variability and costs in post-acute care (PAC) settings.

Bailey’s co-founders and partners at PAC Leaders are physician entrepreneurs with deep experience in clinical management solutions, Robert Harrington, MD and Boykin Robinson, MD. Dr. Harrington was the former Chief Medical Officer at Locum Leaders.

Bailey says the combined resources of Healthcare IT Leaders, PAC Leaders and Locums Choice offer health system executives a suite of complimentary staffing solutions.

“Large integrated delivery networks have workforce needs across a range of IT and clinical areas, including post-acute care. Our expanding group of healthcare-focused staffing companies allow us to more strategically support our clients."
