According to the research2guidance fourth annual study on mHealth app publishing, fitness apps do not have the highest business potential for the future. From now through 2019, expect to see fitness apps decline in popularity, and remote monitoring and consultation apps rise, thanks to the increased penetration of capable devices and patient data demand.
