Tis the Season: Spreading Holiday Cheer With The Christmas Tree Santas

It's been a fantastic year of giving at Healthcare IT Leaders. We've supported a variety of causes including the MD Anderson Caring Fund and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, to name a few.

But we have a special place in our hearts for the Christmas Tree Santas, a seasonal non-profit created by our own founders to spread hope and joy by giving Christmas trees to low-income families. This year, the Santas, with an assist from our friends at The Home Depot, distributed trees, with lights, tree stands and ornaments to nearly 2,000 deserving families in seven states.

Our Atlanta-area tree giveaway benefited local veterans groups, families coming out of homelessness into transitional housing, and the students of the Children's Development Academy in Roswell, Georgia. The Healthcare IT Leaders team carried trees to cars, distributed toys and treats and helped make the holidays a little brighter for a few hundred families—and ourselves.
