Our Healthcare client based out of Los Angeles, is looking for a Contract Interim Payroll Director, responsible for overseeing payroll functions. The project is 12-18 months in duration. COVID Vaccination is required and this is a onsite role, with remote options available to discuss.

Location: Onsite in LA

Duration: 12- 18 months

Role Description & Requirements:

  • Strong Payroll background – minimum of 10 years of payroll experiences (including 5 years in supervisory role) on a Payroll System (not a service), preferably Lawson.
  • Kronos / UKG experience preferred.
  • Understanding and experience in Payroll Tax processing including out of state tax filing
  • Payroll Processing experience
  • Understanding of payroll costing/accounting
  • Willingness to do day to day tasks as needed
  • Support Payroll staff
  • Analyze requests into the department and organize them to review with Director of Payroll for final decisions
