Our healthcare client seeks an Enterprise Architect in their Business Excellence Program to join their team immediately in a contract-to-hire capacity. The initial contract is written for 6 months before converting to a full-time employee.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise architecture across the Business Excellence program (BEx)
  • Within BEx Program – HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Research Management
  • Outside of BEx Program – Real Estate, Office of the Group Council, Internal Communications, Strategy
  • Identity, Access and Worker Master Data (in conjunction with Infrastructure)
  • Drive the execution of the technology strategy in partnership with colleagues and develop and support the IT business capability model for the enterprise
  • Partner with relevant technology companies, including Workday and ServiceNow, to ensure that the needs drive their product roadmaps
  • Define the reference architecture and platforms that deliver the necessary business capabilities, maintain the current state application landscape, and develop the frameworks, models, and roadmaps that demonstrate a progressive consolidation to the simplified target architecture
  • Accountable for technology design and decisions in support of the architecture, ensuring they are aligned with relevant standards, regulatory and operational controls, and policies
  • Responsible for key decisions required around the deployment of Workday capabilities and the interaction with ServiceNow, the provision of capabilities to support mastering of employee data and enhanced Identity and Access Management (IAM), the provision of portal capabilities to enable a step change in employee experience, and the approach to processing and analyzing data 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required
  • A Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
  • Strong background in modern IT architecture technologies (e.g., cloud, big data, API, digital, and mobile)
  • 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, health industry preferred
  • Supervisory Experience

Extensive experience in leading technology innovation and transformation in complex organizations, preferably but not necessarily in the healthcare industry
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and a skilled negotiator
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
