HIM and ICD-10 Jobs In Focus at Virtual Job Fair

Healthcare IT Leaders recruiters will participate in a virtual job fair for health information management (HIM) talent from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The event is hosted by the American Health Information Management Association.

HIM professionals will have the opportunity to upload a resume and chat online directly with Healthcare IT Leaders recruiters to learn more about current HIM and ICD-10 consulting and employment opportunities through our firm.

A recent AHIMA Foundation-sponsored survey of HIM professionals highlighted a current shortage of coders who could support ICD-10 conversion projects in advance of a government-mandated October 2014 deadline. Other ICD-10 consulting roles commonly requested by our clients include project managers, business analysts, testers and auditors.
